This course will help
the NVA candidate develop a general understanding of the problem of suicide in
the U.S. and the state of Nevada; as well as the basic understanding of how to
identify a Veteran, Service Member or their family members that might be at
risk for suicide, how to ask the question and what to do if you identify a service member, veteran, or family member who is at risk and lastly you will have knowledge and resources on where to
locate help for a Veteran who may be having suicidal thoughts.
