HIPAA and Confidentiality Awareness Training
Description:
The purpose of this course is to provide training of the Division's Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Confidentiality Standards. The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) are committed to ensuring the privacy and security of client information. Therefore, it is a requirement for all DPBH State employees, contractors, temporary workers, students, interns, volunteers, or other workforce members to receive this training.
Requirements:
All screens must be viewed to obtain credit for this course. Follow the instructions at the end of this training to ensure course credit is documented in your individual NEATS State Personnel Record.
