Course Overview:

This course is a comprehensive training for all ADSD staff, Nevada Voter Registration Coordinators (NVRC) and staff assisting individuals during the registration process.  It will provide you with instruction regarding Federal, State and Division requirements for voter registration, staff responsibilities to assist individuals with the voter registration process and office procedures in order to comply with these mandates.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completing this course you will be able to:

  1. Understand the National Voter Registration Act
  2. Understand Nevada's Voter Registration Program
  3. Understand Division responsibilities in order to comply with voter registration requirements
  4. Understand the responsibilities of the NVRC and staff assisting individuals during the registration process

Required:  This training is required for all staff within 30 days of hire.  This course will also assist Designated Division or Office Nevada Voter Registration Coordinators (NVRC) or staff identified to provide voter registration assistance to individuals applying for or receiving services from the Division. For identified positions that assist with voter registration regularly, it must be taken every 6 months. 

This course is open for enrollment during the following periods:

July 1st through December 30th

January 2nd through June 29th

     Note:  ADSD required Voter Registration Training.
