Course Overview

This course provides ADSD employees with information on the requirements of reporting allegations of abuse, neglect, isolation and exploitation of Participants receiving services from the Division or via a contracted community provider.

Learning Objectives
Upon completing this course you will be able to:


1.  Understand the various definitions of abuse, neglect, isolation and exploitation across the life span

2.  Understand your requirements as a mandatory reporter

3.  Contact the appropriate authorities in order to report allegations regarding a child, an older person and vulnerable person

4. Consequences of failure to report

5.  Immunity

Requirements: This training is required for all new ADSD workforce members within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter for all employees
