Course Overview

This course is an introductory course that provides you with basic information regarding federal, state and Division requirements for voter registration, staff responsibilities to assist individuals with the voter registration process and office procedures in order to comply with these mandates.

Learning Objectives

Upon completing this course you will be able to:

  1. Understand the National Voter Registration Act
  2. Understand Nevada's Voter Registration Plan
  3. Understand Division responsibilities in order to comply with voter registration requirements.

Required:  This orientation is required for staff who are NOT:

a) designated as Division or Office Nevada Voter Registration Coordinators (NVRC) ; and,

b) providing voter registration assistance  to individuals applying for or receiving services from the Division.

Employees are required to take this course once, unless otherwise directed. 

      Note:  Training for NVRCs and staff who will be providing voter registration assistance to individuals is titled "ADSD Voter Registration Requirements and Responsibilities".
