Course Overview
The Division is required to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and other emergencies impacting the delivery of services to the individuals who receive our services. To facilitate compliance with federal and state requirements so that all Personnel are appropriately trained and prepared to effectively and efficiently execute the Division’s duties under the Division Disaster Response Plan and Hazard Plans and liaison with the state’s Division of Emergency Management - Homeland Security and other response entities, this this course has been established.
Learning Objectives
Upon completing this course you will be able to:
1. Understand the Division's disaster and emergency response requirements
2. Understand the Division, program and office hazard plans
3. Understand your role and responsibility during a disaster or emergency
Requirements: This training is required for all new ADSD workforce members within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter for all employees.
