Course Overview:
This course provides a comprehensive guide to successfully closing the fiscal year, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with state policies. Participants will learn key deadlines, how to prepare to close budget accounts, process corrections between fiscal years, close state fiscal year-end budget accounts, and manage transactions effectively. The course also covers federal program requirements, including grant reporting and subrecipient reconciliations, along with navigating essential tools and resources.
