This 'course' open to those with responsibility for developing courses on the Nevada Online Professional Development System (http://nvelearn.nv.gov).

There are three lessons available to try as students and a fourth which was built together as an introduction to lesson construction. This class also includes a slideshow presentation.

This informal course will help you learn how to create a basic Moodle course in NVeLearn. The course contains a brief overview lesson of settings, samples of the most commonly used items in course development and helpful video tutorials for extra help. 

This course outlines Moodle's features by providing examples of activities and resources.

This an introductury course for teachers to use a range of different webtools as teaching aids.

This workshop will help you enhance skills needed to confidently and effectively facilitate online learning. You will: 

  • experience being in the online learners’ shoes; 
  • think about, practice and develop your online facilitation skills with other new and experienced online facilitators; and 
  • deepen your learning as you synthesize your observations, reading and online activities in your journal.
